Aims: The aim of the scheme is to support the protection against the adverse effects of climate change and drought damage using modern digital tools. The real-time, complex decision support system will be able to improve the spatial and temporal resolution of current drought monitoring systems in practice, using remotely sensed and local data, and implementing innovations based on geospatial information, mathematics and artificial intelligence.

Outcomes: The project will result in a satellite with a unique design and novel measurement capabilities, whose orbit will touch Hungary more often than commercial satellites. In addition, a unique server and system architecture and a web application will be implemented to provide multi-resolution forecasts.
